She herself is quite popular among the people for being cheerful and generous, and is widely known for being a lover of stories. Any knight who comes to her with stories of his heroic deeds is sure to be richly rewarded.
Lyra dreams of being a knight, herself, but her father enforces a law that only men may serve in the royal army. She's been expressly forbidden from even learning to use a weapon. She revels in the stories of adventures she herself may not go on. Recently, however, Lyra has been sneaking down to the lower town in disguise. She's making preparations and planning to run away to become a wandering lady knight.
